Just spent half term hanging around with Altynay, rollerskating, walking round the fields and looking after her little sister. 

Imran due to wed at 16

Imran is engaged to his cousin in Pakistan. He says he loves her and seems happier than he has in a long time. He will marry her when he is 16.

Marshal and Carl have joined the cheerleading club. Here are some photos from Marshal's solo break-dance yesterday. I can't wait to show the whole world how amazing he is.

Ice skating in York

We all went ice-skating in York! Apart from a few dramatic falls, it was a success. Marshal and Carl took it to like pros while Marshal's mum and sister Memento slid around in fits of giggles. Imran preferred to watch and listen to his mp3s (naats). He is loving his singing at the moment, even at the expense of cricket which he seems to have gone off since Pakistan, when his cousins kept beating him! Altynay brought her two girl-friends and they looked very glam and cool skating round holding hands. Here's Altynay, Imran and Marshal aged 13, 14 and a half, and 14.
